PITTSFIELD, MA - The Nonprofit Business Network, a program of the Berkshire Chamber of Commerce in affiliation with 1Berkshire Strategic Alliance Foundation, Inc., presents The "New" Office, a workshop that will explore how technology has changed the ways organizations and their employees work, communicate, and collaborate. The event will be held Tuesday, June 5th from 8:00 - 11:00AM at the Beacon Cinema located at 57 North Street in Pittsfield. Admission is $10 and light refreshments will be served.
What are the best practices for the “new” virtual office environment? Join us as we look at specific tools in the areas of enhanced communications covering options for voice, video, and data communication, and explore how these tools can be more cost effective and efficient than traditional vehicles. Take collaboration a step further and delve into the tools that support a world of a real-time dispersed work environment, document sharing and synchronized file systems.
This workshop is open to both members and non-members. To register, call (413) 499-4000, ext. 116, email dtoomey@berkshirechamber.com or visit www.berkshirechamber.com.
