 What is BYP?

Berkshire Young Professionals has been designed to address the challenges of forming connections for the next generation. BYP works to provide young professionals with opportunities personally, professionally, and within the community. The Berkshire Chamber of Commerce is proud to support and encourage the advancement of BYP to its members and the business community.

The group name refers to "young" because the organization focuses on connecting individuals between the ages of 21 to 40. Many people feel they are too "old" to attend Berkshire Young Professional events, but in reality there is no age limit.

Why should I become a member cardholder?

  • FREE access to our monthly Networking Socials (non-members pay $5 for entrance.)
  • FREE or reduced cost to BYP Special Events
  • Discounts at participating local businesses, just by showing your BYP Membership Card!
How can I become a member cardholder?
Click here to complete a simple online form and your card will be mailed to you.
·     $30 per person – one year membership (cards are valid for one year from date of purchase)

May 18th was a beautiful day for the 6th annual BYP Golf Tournament! Though the windy conditions made for some chilly moments, everyone had a great time golfing 18 holes at Wahconah Country Club in Dalton.
